What goes up must come down
Why Do I Ship CrissColfer? Because it could happen. Trust me, I know. It happened to me.

Before I start, I just want to make it clear that I am not bashing the OP of the post in question in any way/shape/form. She/he is entitled to their own opinion and should be free to express said opinion on their own personal blog.

This is something that I have been meaning to make a post about for some time, but I’m lazy and never could quite muster up the energy. I will attempt to do so tonight, though it probably won’t be anywhere near as eloquent and coherent as it should be.

To me, sexuality isn’t clear cut or black and white. There are, in fact, shades of gray. Someone can label themselves ‘straight’ all they want but, in my opinion, it wouldn’t stop them from falling in love with a person of the same gender because when it comes right down to it: You fall in love with the PERSON, not their GENDER. As cliched as it is, I’m going to use Brokeback Mountain as a reference. And yes, I am aware that it is a fictional story, so I’ll do you one better. I’ll use myself as a reference - it happened to me.

If I had to slap a label on my sexual preference, I would declare myself to be straight. However, when I was a junior in high school, I fell in love. I fell in love with another girl.

“Because I have the most amazing boyfriend ever, who I know will love me no matter what I look like and whatever imperfections I might have.” Kurt crushed his lips to Blaine’s, the kiss deeper, needier, than before.

“And I will always do the same,” he continued, the words warm on Blaine’s lips. “Because nothing can change my opinion of you.”
